Kylie Campbell

Principal Psychologist and Founder

An experienced Psychologist, Kylie has worked for 19 years across a range of settings including child and adolescent mental health, adult mental health, working with families and children at risk of significant harm, therapeutic relationship and trauma counselling, post separation services, and education.

Kylie is experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Non Violent Resistance Therapy. Committed to growth and development, Kylie has undergone additional training in play and creative techniques, strengths based approaches, systemic theory, trauma informed frameworks, and neurodiverse affirming approaches. Kylie brings a reflective, integrative, and change focused lens to her work.

Kylie is trained to conduct a range of psychological assessments including cognitive, intellectual disability, behavioural, educational, and Autism assessments. Kylie is committed to making data and diagnoses meaningful, enhancing strengths, and providing helpful and practical recommendations.

Kylie is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Board and a Board Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia. She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPi), a values-driven national peak body for psychologists. Kylie is also a registered provider with Medicare.

Outside of Kanda, Kylie is a busy wife and mother to 3 boys. She enjoys the beautiful walking trails surrounding Wagga, gardening, and spending time with her dogs.

Kylie offers a compassionate, experienced, and committed approach to mental health and wellbeing.


Tessa Boller

Psychologist

Tessa has worked with people across the lifespan but has a passion for supporting children, adolescents and their families. She has worked in child and adolescent mental health and in education settings. Tessa has an interest and expertise in conducting a range of formal psychological assessments and is able to provide academic, cognitive, and behaviour assessments including intellectual disability, Specific Learning Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Tessa is experienced in using a number of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. Tessa is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Melissa Bailey

Psychologist

Mel graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Charles Sturt University. She has worked with people across the lifespan but has a special interest and passion for working with children, teenagers, young adults, and their families. Mel’s practice is strength-based, nurturing and compassionate and she has assisted clients with a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, stress, low self esteem, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), poor body image, procrastination, bullying, and grief and loss.

Mel is experienced in conducting psychological assessments including ADHD assessments and comprehensive educational assessments to help identify potential cognitive processing challenges and/or diagnosis of specific learning disorders. Mel is committed to supporting individuals through helpful and practical recommendations for both the family and school setting, supporting collaboration, growth, and positive change. 


Oliver Crispin

Provisional Psychologist

Oliver is a neuro-affirmative provisional psychologist who enjoys working with children, teenagers, and young adults. Oliver graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Charles Sturt University and brings with him over 5 years’ experience working in the Out of Home Care sector and 2 years as a provisional psychologist in the disability field. Oliver’s passion is providing assessments and therapy, especially to neurodiverse individuals including Autistics, ADHDers, and those with Specific Learning Disorders. Oliver is also experienced in undertaking cognitive assessments and in providing trauma informed intervention.

Oliver is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologist Incorporated (AAPi). Outside of work, Oliver volunteers with the NSW State Emergency Service (SES) both in the field and with the peer support unit. He also enjoys perusing shops and auctions for unique and interesting antiques. 


Chantelle Hitchenor

Psychologist

Chantelle has experience across many different settings including working with young people in refuge accommodation and out of home care; diversional therapy (aged care), social housing; child and adolescent mental health; and adult mental health. Chantelle is a registered psychologist and is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologist Incorporated (AAPi). Chantelle is warm, gentle, and creative and works collaboratively with parents, schools, and other organisations involved in her client’s treatment and care.


Tara Maher

Psychologist

Tara is a provisional psychologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Charles Sturt University in 2016.  For the past six years Tara has been providing psychological services to young people aged 12 - 25. She also has experience working with adults and children in post separation settings. Tara is particularly experienced in providing cognitive behavioural therapy for a range of conditions including anxiety, OCD, depression, anger, school avoidance, procrastination, self-esteem and stress.

 Outside of being a provisional psychologist Tara loves spending time with her dog, reading, and trying new foods. 


Jess Lawlor

Client Experience Officer

Jess brings to our team over 25 years of Administrative and Customer focussed experience across a variety of industries, including local government, agriculture and medical. Her work passion is people and being informed! Her role at Kanda will ensure all our clients are warmly welcomed, they have the information every step of the way from intake to appointments, and any concerns or questions are dealt with in a reasonable time.  She also has a love of little people and their strengths, and is more than happy to engage in lego, drawing or even takes song requests while your little one is waiting. Outside of work, Jess is a mum to an adult daughter, and two primary boys! When she isn’t at basketball or soccer games, she loves walking the lake with her dog and having brunch with her friends.


Patrina Roberts

Client Experience Officer

Bringing 30 yrs of customer service and administration experience, Patrina is passionate in ensuring clients feel welcome and taken care of. Patrina is a creative who adds a splash of colour wherever she goes, bringing warm smiles to those around her. Patrina believes in helping people live their best life. A mum of 2 teen girls, married to her best friend, lover of the perfect cup of chai, and indoor plant whisperer. And ssh… she secretly watches Christmas movies all year round! Patrina looks forward to seeing you when you visit Kanda.
